That You May Believe

John’s stated desire in writing his gospel account is that his readers would come to believe in Jesus and that belief would change who they were and how they lived. The pages of John are filled with stories of Jesus interacting with people and showing how that interaction transforms them to become something more than they were before they encountered Christ.
