To love the things of the world is to reject God.  To embrace Jesus is to deny worldly desires.  What will you choose to build your life upon?

The Christian life is not lived in a vacuum which means at times it will not be easy.  There are forces that will challenge and work against our attempts to follow Christ.  Paul closes his letter with some advise on how to stand firm against those forces.

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.  God different gifts the each member of the body.  When all these roles are working together the body is healthy, growing and vibrant.

What does it mean for God’s Kingdom to reign in the lives of people?   The answer is found when His will takes root in the hearts of His children.
