Another Messianic Psalm. As with Psalm 2, attempting to see the Psalm through an ancient Israelite lens, then through Jesus’ lens, then through our own. “He has not despised or disdained the suffering of the affected one.”

Moses gave the law but broke it, literally, because he didn’t have the grace to keep it. He gave the law but couldn’t give the grace to live by it. Jesus gives us the grace to live out the law of God.
