Our Beliefs

A full description of our beliefs can be found in the booklet SKChurch FAQ (soon to be available on our Media page), but the following explains some of the things we hold most important in our faith.

• We believe that God is the creator, sovereign ruler and sustainer of the universe.
• We believe that Jesus is the Son of God who lived on earth being fully human and fully divine. He died on a cross, paying the penalty for sin, and rose from the grave giving Him the power and authority to grant new, abundant and eternal life.
• We believe the Holy Spirit works in the hearts and lives of people to help reconnect them with God through Jesus.
• We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
• We believe that all have sinned and sin separates people from God.
• We believe that salvation is only by the grace of God through the blood of Jesus.
• We believe that no matter who you are or what you’ve done, God still loves you and wants to restore His relationship with you
